Macro Monday

Just for fun!  I'm not a pro-photographer or anything.. though I DO love taking lots of pictures :)  I decided to give Macro Monday a try this week.  This is a picture I took this past weekend at the pumpkin patch.  I was playing with the settings on my camera and found "super macro".  yay.  So this is what I got:

  1. Wow - what a great capture and I love the contrast between the white caterpillar and the pink flowers.

  2. You should blow this one up and frame it. What a spectacular photo. I haven't heard of that setting. It really captured all the little hairs on the caterpillar.

  9. Thanks!! I have a fuji camera that Jeff got me for my birthday last year.. I don't even know the exact model! It's sorta the same style as an SLR but not as "high tech" I suppose. I'm assuming that the settings "macro" and "super macro" are the manufacturer's way of making it easy to get the effect without the full range of SLR capabilities.
I love it though! It's a huge step up from my normal point and shoot digital, but still easy to use.
